Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how HomeIQ ("we", "us"), Belgium, handles personal data on the website homeiq.be and in our internal social-media tool, HomeIQ Publisher. Contact: mohammed@homeiq.be.
1. Website
homeiq.be is a static information website. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and we keep them only as long as needed for that conversation or to meet legal obligations.
2. HomeIQ Publisher (social media tool)
HomeIQ Publisher is an internal tool that connects only to HomeIQ's own YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts in order to publish videos made by HomeIQ. Through the platforms' official APIs it receives:
- basic account information of HomeIQ's own accounts (name, avatar, account ID);
- access tokens needed to upload videos.
It does not access data of other users, followers, messages or analytics. Tokens are stored on our own server in the EU (Hetzner), are readable only by the isolated publishing service, and are deleted when the connection is revoked. We never sell or share this data.
3. Google / YouTube
HomeIQ Publisher uses YouTube API Services. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
4. Meta / Instagram and TikTok
Access granted to HomeIQ Publisher can be revoked at any time in the respective account settings (Instagram: "Apps and websites"; TikTok: "Manage app permissions").
5. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, email mohammed@homeiq.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
6. Changes
Changes to this policy are posted on this page.
